How to arrive to our monastery

Thassos is the most northern island of the Aegean Sea. Access to the island  is very easy thanks to:

  • In the frequent daily itineraries of the shipping companies.

  •  Quick and direct access to ferries via Egnatia road (E90).

  • The International Airport which is very close to the island (Chrysoupoli, Kavala).

The ships transport passengers  and  vehicles quickly  and  directly so that the movement of the public and access to the  island is done by any vehicle.

From:

  • Keramoti - Limenas (Thassos Town): These are the most frequent itineraries lasting just 40 minutes.

  • Kavala - Skala Prinos: It is smoother, longer - 1 hour and 15 minutes.

After your arrival in Thassos you can come to our monastery via:

  • Local urban transport KTEL that operate partially during the summer months.

  • your own means of transport.
